Reason for Silverlight inactivity…

I thought I would just inform you why I haven’t posted anything about Silverlight 2.0 beta 2. I am in a “typically” beta situation… which means that the new beta doesn’t work.

When SL 2 beta 2 came out, I uninstalled the SL2 beta 1 from my desktop, rebootet, and installed the new SL 2 beta 2. Somehow it managed to f*** something up. So everytime I try to create a SL 2 beta 2 project I get this error:

“Requested registry access is not allowed.”

That is pretty annoying!

I have tryed to uninstall VS2008 and reinstall it, but it still gives me the same error. I have tryed to google the error message but haven’t found a solution yet…

Last time I had a similar situation I went from XP to Vista, so I had to reinstall my OS anyway, but I refuse to reinstall Vista already!

If anybody out there have a solution to this, PLEASE let me know!

iPhone 3G – Incoming

I know I normally blog about Silverlight, .NET, Game development etc. Much of this is Microsoft related as I'm a Microsoft user and developer. When that is said, I have to say that I think I am going to by the new iPhone 3G!

When I first heard about it some weeks ago, I wasn't really that impressed. I knew about the old iPhone and I have seen it briefly as one of my colleagues had one. I haven't ever thought of it as a phone for me. All I saw was a fancy looking phone.

But then some weeks ago I heard about the new iPhone 3G and the new 2.0 OS it's running on. Actually I don't know why, but after that I started doing alittle researh on it. Now I have to say that I'm absolutely sold to that phone! I need to have one July 11th 2008! Cool

Again, I'm 100% Microsoft man normally, but this phone just seems to have everything I need and a new way of thinking the interface. So I have to have one!
